Armed Forces Mutual would like to announce the retirement of our President and Treasurer, MAJ Walt Lincoln, CFP® (USA, Ret) after 28 years with the Association. During this time, Walt guided the modernization of Armed Forces Mutual and propelled our organization into remarkable success, all for the benefit of our Members for generations to come.

BG Michael J. Meese, PhD (USA, Ret) has succeeded Walt as President of Armed Forces Mutual. Mike joined Armed Forces Mutual as Chief Operating Officer in 2013 and was promoted to Armed Forces Mutual’s Executive Vice President and Secretary in 2018. He is a leader in military and veterans issues, including a 32-year career in the United States Army and chairing the 2016-17 Transition Team for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
